Good Poo (“the App”) is developed and published by Chris Gregori (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you use the App.
The short version
We don't collect your data. Everything you log in Good Poo — Bristol Stool Scale entries, fibre and water intake, and any other information you enter — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. We have no servers, no backend, no analytics SDKs, and no way to see, access, or receive your logged data. There is no account, sign-up, or login of any kind.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share:
- Any Bristol Stool Scale entries, notes, or timestamps you log
- Any fibre, water, or food-lookup data you enter
- Your name, email address, or any other personal identifier
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers or analytics/usage data
All of the above stays on your device and in any personal iCloud backup you configure yourself through iOS. We never receive a copy of it.
Home Screen widgets
The App's widgets read and write data using the same on-device storage as the App itself, so that logging from a widget stays in sync with the App. This data never leaves your device.
Third parties
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Apple may separately process standard, anonymised operational data (such as crash logs or App Store purchase records) under its own privacy policy; that processing is outside of our control and is not covered by this policy.
Children's privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Medical disclaimer
Good Poo is a wellness and habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and you should always consult a qualified healthcare professional with any questions regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything logged, displayed, or inferred by the App.
Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data logged will be preserved or accurately reflected.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability, and you agree that we shall not be liable, for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health outcomes, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You use the App entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you are solely responsible for any decisions made on the basis of information logged or displayed in the App.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
